Isthmus Cove Anchorage, Two Harbors

Dear Cruising Yachts Customer,

Again this year we are holding our Customer Appreciation Rendezvous at Two Harbors, Catalina Island, the weekend of August 23, 24 and 25.  This event is open to all of our customers, Jeanneau owners, Hunter owners and brokerage customers of all models. With the merger of Cruising Yachts and Sailboats Unlimited (now Cruising Yachts Unlimited) in Marina del Rey earlier this year, we expect this year’s event to be bigger and better than ever. It will be lots of fun for all! We look forward to seeing you there.

A few highlights (by no means everything we have planned):

Thursday / Friday, August 22 / 23:  

Arrive and pick up a mooring. These are on a first come first serve basis, so arrive as early as possible. Catalina Mooring Service: (310) 510-4253; VHF Channel 9. 

Friday, August 23, 6pm – WELCOME ABOARD PARTY – MAIN BANDSTAND - 

Hors d'oeuvre contest. Bring your favorite hors d'oeuvre or appetizer to share with others (10 – 15 servings) and we’ll be voting on a winner.  We have a great prize for the winner!!  The bar will be open including beer and wine.  

Saturday Morning, August 24, 8am – 10am - TWO HARBORS BREAKFAST ON THE BEACH – Meet us on the beach in the morning  for scrambled eggs, home fried potatoes, hickory smoked bacon, sausage links, breakfast pastries, coffee, tea and orange juice.

Saturday Morning, August 24, 10am – 12pm – CRUISERS SEMINARS – Events / Presentations of interest to all yachters. Some events also may be offered in the afternoon. More details to follow.

Saturday Afternoon, August 24 – ON YOUR OWN - Equipment Rentals are available for dive boat trips, snorkel and dive equipment, volleyball, horse shoes, bocce ball and bike rentals. Reserve at (310) 510-4272. 

Saturday Evening, August 24, 6:30 pm – BBQ DINNER ON THE BEACH – MAIN BANDSTAND:  Catered BBQ dinner including BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, marinated tri-tip, garden salad, mashed potatoes, baked beans, corn on the cob, strawberry & chocolate cake. The bar will be open with beer and wine.

Saturday evening, August 24, 7:30 pm – ARE YOU SMARTER THAN AN OLD SALT – Right after dinner, join us for this popular nautical trivia contest that is fun for all! Prizes for the winners!
