Sailing: Jack bought his first boat, an Ensenada 20, 35+ years ago. He had never sailed a boat prior to buying it and didn’t know a jibe from a jib, and measured heel by his pulse rate, when it got up to about 85 it was time to tack!
Jack has owned a Catalina 22, Irwin 25, Contest 31, Catalina 30 and a Catalina 40 and now a Hunter 466. All of these were sailed and raced either on the Potomac River, the Chesapeake Bay, the Pacific Ocean; has chartered a Beneteau 47 in Virgin Islands and has brought a boat down from Connecticut to Annapolis, Md.
Jack brings to Cruising Yachts years of client service oriented business and sales experience coupled with years of sailing. His basic philosophy is don’t promise what you can’t deliver, but deliver more than you promised. He views much of the sales process as that of educating and learning.
